Bumblebee fairy with dress enamel pin

A bumble bee fairy dons a daisy flower crown and a beautiful little dress of stripes. This bee is dressed to impress. Are they going to a party? or maybe to a spring solstice gathering? 

Bees are such amazing insects that represent spring, pollinating all the beautiful flowers like the ones this bee wears on their head. I enjoy making insects into fairies because theirs wings are best suited for it. The dress was a unique twist. When I was doodling different shapes, I really liked the idea of the stripes coming from clothing instead of part of their body.

- 1.5 x 1.5 inches

- gold plated hard enamel, polished

- Yellow, black, and white colored enamel

- Wings are filled with a light blue glitter  

- 2 sharp post with 2 yellow rubber pin back

Packaging
I package all of my pins in as sustainable packaging as I can manage. Nearly all my materials are recyclable or compostable. I use compostable plastic bags and yellow paper bags to keep the pins safe from scratches while going through the mail. I also include a freebie sticker as a thank you!
